Our plug'n fly replica Spitfire IX Port Cockpit Module includes three essential units to pilot the aircraft : the elevator and rudder trim wheels, the throttle quadrant and the VHF radio RCU (Remote Controller Unit). Thanks to the curved cockpit panel these units are correctly positioned in relation to each other. The panel can be easily fixed to a desk or worktop in seconds using the support bar provided.
A built-in pre-programmed USB controller connects to pc via a standard USB cable provided.
SFS Port Cockpit Module
The module is fully assembled from 3D printed parts in PLA+ together with wooden, metal and the necessary electronic components.
Our throttle quadrant includes the Fuel Cutoff lever, the Throttle lever in a notched gate with an adjustable max take-off stop and bomb release button, the Airscrew Control lever and on the outside the friction wheel & lever allowing the pilot to adjust the stiffness of the levers. The VHF RCU has a working dimmer filter and lights to indicate when the various buttons are pressed. The unit provides 7 button functions which can be assigned to various functions in your flight simulation program.
